The first step to get to know a city probably is to know its history. That's why we had the trip called "Freedom Trail" last Friday. It was a hot day, but we were really looking forward to get to understand the history and process of development of this city. The so called Freedom Trail is a trail that connects 16 significant historic sites in series. We started the trip with Boston Common which is the central public park in Boston. Along the trail, we visited some important sites in Boston's history such as Old State House, Site of the Boston Massacre, etc. Every student was responsible to give a short presentation about different sites. That's helpful for us to know some details. From this trail I learned how Boston people make efforts to be independent, and how they continuously pursue their freedom and happiness. Also, I firmly felt that the happiness of our generation today is the result of former generations' efforts. Thanks for this Freedom Trail trip, it taught me a lot.
i agree with you the happiness of or generationtoday is the rusult of former generation's effort
ReplyDeleteVery good essay. I do think the key point to vist the Freedom Trail is to understand the history.
